Newborn hearing screening |
- Households with income corresponding to less than 72% of median household income
- Newborn infants of families with three or more children, regardless of the income level
※ All twins born after the first child are considered as the third child.

- 1st hearing screening : AOAE, AABR
- Providing individual defrayment for a definite diagnosis of hearing loss for infants whose hearing screening result is stated as REFER (only for auditory brainstem response threshold test / not for retesting of AOAE, AABR)

Fertility treatment |
- Couples who have been legally married and suffer from infertility submit a medical certificate proving that they need IVF or artificial insemination (A medical certificate must be issued by a fertility specialist of a government-designated fertility center.)
- The wife should be 44 years old or younger on the submission date.

- Procedure: Submit an application to the Public Health Center. (before the procedure) → Notice of Subsidy issued
※ Subsidies are determined according to the “Household Income Standard Table.”

- Basic target : Households with income corresponding to less than 80% of median household income
- Exception: Households with income corresponding to less than 100% of median household income

Diaper and modified dry milk provision for low-income families |
- Diapers: Provide diaper subsidies (64,000 won per month) to households with an infant aged between 0 and 24 months with income corresponding to less than 40% of median household income (less than 100% of the minimum cost of living)
- Modified dry milk: If an infant entitled to the diaper provision service cannot be breast-fed due to a sickness or death of his/her mother
※ Providing monthly subsidy (86,000 won/month) for modified dry milk and baby food to those who are going through anticancer treatments, radiation treatments, or have AIDS, etc.

- Providing subsidies for infants under 24 months old for a designated period of time
※ Providing subsidies for 24 months for infants aged between 0 and 60 days regardless of the application date
※ If exceeding 60 days old, providing subsidies for the remaining period until the 24th month
※ Subsidies are determined according to the “Household Income Standard Table”.
